Store cornstarch and compostable bags in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Water, heat and light can begin the breakdown process.

If you’re having trouble getting the bags to rip off the roll, or open so you can scoop some poop, moisten your fingertips. This usually does the trick.

Composting requires certain conditions, so leaving your doggie bags out in the world after a walk won’t work. Throw your used bags into your local composting bins, or in with the regular trash, and enjoy the rest of your walk!
